Andriy Dykun, the President of Ukrainian Dairy Association of Ukraine, said the initiative to issue is to appeal to the government to prevent the arbitrary lower prices for milk. «The reduction of purchase prices for raw milk was due to the prohibition of export of Ukrainian cheese to Russia, also even those processors who have never worked for export», — he said.

I visited all the Dairy Congresses and I can confidently say that the progress in the work of the Ukrainian Dairy Association is substantial. First of all, I want to mention a young and energetic team of organizers. It is rare to find young and smart and also organized experts of such level.
It is also nice to see that the system of milk production is working smoothly, like clockwork. This is not just a movement, the farmers know how to make feed, buy upgraded milking equipment. We can also see that genotype becomes stronger, breeds are cleaner. After the visits to the farm, I had some inspiration to establish processes at my farm. Now I’m planning to make concrete entrances to the barn.
I also want to note the report of our lecturers. They were more informative. In general, if we will give ear to their advice, then in 5 years, foreigners will come to us and we will teach them how to work.

Among the speakers I can identify Ali Rakban «AlSafiDanon» (United Arab Emirates), who showed that dairy cattle has no borders and can be developed in a large scale. Izrael Flamenbaum from Israel also made it clear that the dry climate is not an obstacle to efficient milk production, you need only know the technology and not be lazy and miserto apply them.
Elman Gasanovych, as always, was at his best. Despite the fact that some producers consider his speech as not quite informative compared to last year speech, this person has experience and knows how to help our farmers not just get on its feet, but also increase the productivity of cows.

Our experts heard a lot of useful things which they didn’t previously know. This includes information about grass mixtures. Especially I want to note Elman Hasanovych Orudzhov. The information was quite interesting.
Does Ukrainian milk have any future? When I talked to my colleagues, with whom I went to USA (trip organized by Dykun Global Consult), I saw a spark in their eyes. The desire to produce milk is definitely present. We see great prospects in this field. The main thing is that the state does not destroy our initiative.
